Welcome to my website, costarica-tours.com! My name is Franklin Loaisiga, and
I would like to introduce myself and my Tour Guide business! I am a dual citizen of
Nicaragua and Costa Rica. I graduated with a degree in tourism from the University
of Costa Rica and am a certified tour guide. I have 16 years of work experience from
several companies in the tourism industry, such as Swiss Travel, Four Seasons, and
JW Marriott. My passion is to guide tours that emphasize the beauty of Costa Rica's
nature! I have designed five tours that I believe you will find of particular interest.
As a small company, I feel that I have the ability to best meet my individual customer's
needs. I look forward to being your tour guide!

This is a river boat wildlife-viewing tour. You can see possible monkeys, crocodiles,
reptiles, and numerous exotic birds. If you are coming to Costa Rica to view wildlife,
then this is the tour for you!
A van will pick you up in the morning between 7:00 am - 9:00 am, and will drop you
off at the Tempisque River approximately an hour later. This tour includes 2 hours
on the river boat, where you have a chance to see all kinds of Costa Rican wildlife.
After the river boat tour, you have a chance to participate in a pottery tour, where
artists create native pottery using old-time techniques. The tour concludes with a
typical Costa Rican lunch.
Minimum tour group size is 4 people, cost is $120/person.

This is an all-inclusive tour that includes horseback riding, hot springs, mud baths,
a hike to a waterfall, waterslide, ziplining, and lunch. All activities have scenic views,
including the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano!
A van will pick you up between 7:00 am - 8:00 am, and drive you approximately 2
hours to the property. Once at Buena Vista, you will have all day to enjoy the
multiple attractions! Don't forget to take time to eat lunch, which is organic and
grown on-site!
Minimum tour group size is 4 people, and the cost is $130/person. Bring flip-flops,
tennis shoes, sun protective gear, a bathing suit, and athletic clothes. During the
rainy season, be sure to bring a rain coat!

Rincon de la Vieja Nature Hike
Start your nature hike in a primary forest where you can see toucans, monkeys,
coatis, and occasionally mountain lions. This 2-hour hike will take you through a
lush forest with a multitude of flora and trees native to the region. NOTE **This is
not for the faint of heart!!** Tour includes a buffet lunch and transportation. In
addition, water, beer, and bug spray will be provided.
Minimum tour group size if 4 people, cost is $100/person.

Have you ever wanted to view sea turtles lay their eggs on a beach? Have you ever wanted
to see baby sea turtles swarm a beach on their way to the ocean? Well, this is your chance!
Just after sunset, arrive at a local beach ready to watch sea turtles in their natural habitat. You
will be escorted by a professional guide, so you don't disturb the turtles.
This is a seasonal tour, most often available in February, March, June, and July. In addition,
the rainfall and temperature dictate the best viewing time.
Minimum tour size is 4, cost is $65/person.

Have you ever wanted to hang ten on a surf board in the prime surfing waters of Costa Rica?
This is your chance to get a surf lesson from a certified surf instructor! This instructor speaks
many languages, including Spanish, French, and English. They also have available other
aqua sports equipment such as paddle boards, kayaks, and outrigger canoes. Prices vary
based on which activity you choose.
Your surf lesson will last for two hours and includes surf board rental. Cost is $45/person
